The app works well and does what it's supposed to. The reason it's only getting 2 stars is because it abuses it's "appear over other apps" permission. On numerous occasions I've had my med reminder, taken my meds, clicked close, and turned my phone off my phone screen. An hour or so later I get a low battery notification on my watch for my phone and it's because Pillo decided that after I clicked close and turned off my screen it wanted to show an ad, so it kept playing the ad, draining battery.

The ads are getting worse and more obnoxious, and the app at times will say I skipped doses that I logged as taken. I also kind of hate the fact that the donation page still has forced priority over other apps. The only thing that should have that is the actual alarm, imo. And why exactly does it turn phone audio down when the alarm goes off? That just feels like lazy/poor programming. I thought this would be a great tool, but it's just becoming a nuisance.

I love the way you can enter the minimum interval and maximum daily dosage of over-the-counter meds. This is just what I was looking for, rather than putting in an artificial schedule. However, the app can be intrusive when it's time to take the first pill (medicine tracker), as it refuses to close until you have completed the process, and doesn't allow you to reject this feature initially. Hopefully, I've turned it off now.
